Our Philosophy
We believe all human beings are problem solvers with the capacity for critical and reflective thinking – tools of the trade for care-based practitioners. These beliefs form the foundation of all curriculum developed and delivered by CareHelperU.

Care-based practice is complex because it deals with providing care and support to people who are often marginalized, making them vulnerable to being harmed either intentionally or unknowingly. Practitioners require a model of learning that enhances critical and reflective thinking. This increases their ability to identify challenges and to implement appropriate strategies.

Our Contribution to Making This World a Better Place
CareHelperU is operated by a group of individuals who have worked in care-based professions for over 30 years as frontline staff, educators, consultants, and management. Throughout this period, we have witnessed and experienced the impact of funding cuts and the increased need for skilled staff. These factors have made it exceedingly difficult for non-profits to offer services according to their vision of care. CareHelper U’s contribution to making this world a better place is by providing e-learning solutions for the training needs of non-profits, assisting them with fulfilling their vision of care.
