Authors Biography
Dan Sullivan was born in Ottawa, and raised in the suburb
of Nepean. He earned a BA in English from Carleton University in 1994.
He then moved to London, England for two years and worked at a bookshop
on Oxford St. (And soon realized that this is what is done with an English
degree.) In 1996, he returned to Canada and moved to Vancouver. Dan got
an entry level position at the BC Securities Commission, the stock market
watchdog in 1997. He moved his way up to the Communications Coordinator
position, where he wrote for publications such as the industry newsletter.
He left the BCSC in 2002 and has been writing Orangeman Motor Hotel fulltime
since December 2002. He lives with his wife Karen.
